Christina Dow is an award-winning American film producer. She founded Solo Five Productions in 2016 and serves as its Managing Director.
After graduating from Boston College with a B.A. in Art History, Christina moved to New York City to work at Christie’s Auction House. When an opportunity in the entertainment industry presented itself, she moved to Los Angeles where she ultimately received her M.F.A. in Producing from the American Film Institute in 2015.
Christina began her professional producing career in theater, most notably with The Blue Room, by Academy Award Nominee, David Hare. Her first feature film, Hannah, is directed by Andrea Pallaoro, and stars Charlotte Rampling. Hannah had its world premiere in 2017 at the 74th Venice International Film Festival where it was nominated for a Golden Lion and Ms. Rampling took home the Best Actress award.
Christina’s second feature film, Monica, also world premiered in competition at the 79th Venice International Film Festival. Monica is Christina’s second collaboration with director, Pallaoro, and stars Trace Lysette and Patricia Clarkson. Monica was released in theaters by IFC in May 2023 and was awarded the Outstanding Film Award at the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards.
Christina is currently in development on a hybrid live action/ stop-motion animated feature film titled Romeo. She is working with Andy Gent and the rest of the incredible London-based animation team behind Isle of Dogs and Fantastic Mr. Fox.
